Deleting your account

Your Manabiya account is the same on this website, in the Android app and in the Windows app. You can delete it yourself at any time, and with it everything stored about you.

How

1. Sign in at japanese-jlpt.com, or open the Android app.
2. Open Settings (at the bottom of the side menu; on a phone, open the menu first) and go to Account.
3. Choose Delete account… and confirm it with your password. If you sign in with Google, confirm it by typing your email address instead.

What is deleted

Everything, at once: your account, email address, name, password (stored only in a scrambled form), the link to your Google account, your progress, your daily plan, your garden, your settings and your sign-in sessions. Nothing is kept, and it cannot be undone. A Windows app that was connected to the account stops syncing; its own copy of your progress stays on that computer until you uninstall the app.

Can’t sign in?

Write to hello@silenosworks.com from the email address of the account and say that you want it deleted. We delete it within 30 days, usually much sooner, and reply when it is done.
