By creating an account you agree to these terms. They are short.

The service

Manabiya offers Japanese lessons, recordings, videos, quizzes and a study plan. It is provided as it is: we work to keep it correct and available, but we cannot promise that it is free of mistakes or always running, and we may change or end parts of it.

The lessons

The lessons were written, voiced and illustrated with the help of AI tools and then checked; mistakes can remain. If you find one, please tell us. Manabiya is not affiliated with the Japanese-Language Proficiency Test (JLPT), its organisers or any school.

Your account

• One account per person; keep your password to yourself.
• Do not copy the lessons or their media in bulk, or use the site in a way that disturbs it for others.

We may suspend an account that breaks these rules. You can delete your account at any time in Settings → Account.

Responsibility

To the extent the law allows, we are not liable for indirect damage or for results of using the lessons. Nothing in these terms limits rights you have as a consumer under the law of your country. These terms are governed by the law of the Czech Republic.

Changes

If these terms change in a way that matters, we will say so in the app before the change applies.
